Aalborg University

Aalborg University (AAU) is an ever-changing and progressive independent research and education institution under the watch of the Minister for Science, Technology, and Innovation within the field of public administration. AAU is proud to offer students research and programs in the sectors of engineering, health, nature, social, and humanities. These programs are held with objectives for the public and private sector. AAU takes part in local, regional, and national problems and are making strides for international cooperation. The university was created in 1974 and has campuses located in Aalborg, Esbjerg, and Copenhagen and boasts over 17,000 students. AAU ranks in the top 3% of universities in the world, out of about 18,000. Also among the world's leading 100 universities founded in the last 50 years, Aalborg ranks 71st.

AAU focuses on making sure that they provide only the highest quality and relevant education, combined with the continuous development of all programs. This quality assurance system is ongoing to provide information and outlines procedures for processing information and document requirements for AAUs programs. This process ensures that the training management is able to make informed and correct educated decisions regarding the development of the university's educational offerings. Additionally, the university is self-evaluated for training every 3 years through an assessment that encompasses the quality and relevance, as well as evaluating all of the relevant development initiatives for the programs that are offered. Sheridan College

Sheridan College was founded in 1967, and has grown from a small local college of just 400 students to one of Ontario's top post secondary institutions. Sheridan educates about 22,000 full time students and about 17,000 students that are part time or continuing their education. Laval University, School of Design

Located in the center of Quebec City in the Saint-Roch district, the School of Design can offer students a learning environment that is inspiring and invigorating, allowing individuals to interact with technology, art, and culture through networks that work together with the University's learning objectives. The School of Design offers programs in 2D and 3D animation, product design, graphic design, and interaction design. The School of Design was founded in 1922, and has undergone numerous transformations.

McGill University

What makes McGill? 4000 students, 300 buildings, and 250,000 living alumni have helped the institution gain its reputation for excellence that is recognized around the world. Some outstanding milestones achieved by the university include: 1st place of Canadian universities for medical-doctoral students for 12 years in a row, over 300 programs of study, 12 Nobel Prize winners, 142 Rhodes Scholars, and the highest percentage of PhD students of all Canadian research universities.

McGill's Student Life and Learning team was organized to support students both inside and out of the class. It offers important services and programs that promote social, intellectual, physical, and cultural development. These programs also explore interests that complement the accurate curriculum on a local, national, and international level. These programs include athletics and recreation, enrollment services, hospitality services and student housing, office of the dean of students, teaching and learning services, and services for students. The services offered to students are afforded through the Student Service fee that is charged as part of tuition each term. Other services are paid for voluntarily by the students. Nonetheless, students have access to career planning services, mental health services and counseling, International student services, students with disabilities services, services for scholarships and student aid, office of religious and spiritual life, tutorial services, and student health services.

Grad students will have access to SKILLSETS, a program that will develop and promote interdisciplinary professional offerings. The 9 themes of the activities include academic integrity, fellowships and funding, social responsibility, career development, life skills, supervision, communication skills, research management, and teaching competence.

University of Montreal, School of Library and Information Science

The university takes responsibility in training professionals and researchers to properly manage recorded information as well as knowledge, in order to maximize their use in society. The university also works to contribute to the growth of knowledge and application in information management through research activities—national and international.

The School of Library and Information Science is directly descended with the School of Librarians, which was founded in 1937. The school is ALA accredited, and has been ever since 1969. This quality recognition and obtained accreditation allows graduates to explore a vast labor market that is linked to the varying disciplinary fields through the information sciences niche not only in Canada, but in the United States as well.

The School of Information Sciences has roots in traditional document professions, archival science, and librarianship. Information plays an increasingly vital role in all things cultural, social, political, scientific, economic, and administration. The relationship that individuals have with information changes as time goes on, with and without our control and it is central and instrumental in the advancements of society. As an economically recognized resource, information lends to the growth of networks that facilitate and democratize access for any citizen. Those working in archival and libraries know the importance of documents and managing them—identifying, acquiring, analyzing, conserving, exploiting, and storing them. Thought this process has remained the same fundamentally, the context of it has grown rapidly as information has exploded onto the scene.
