Master of Information Management

This degree from Del is one of the first of its kind in Canada. It will grow on the student's existing experience and knowledge in order to help them develop the critical thinking and management skills along with best practices to excel in their future. To be accepted into the program, applicants need to possess at least 5 years of experience in the workplace as well as hold a 4 year degree with at least a B (3.0 GPA) average from a university that is recognized by the Senate of Del. Alternatively, those with 5 to 10 years of relevant management experience are considered for acceptance.

This program is designed to be flexible for those who are already in their career and are looking to achieve their own goals. It is a blend of distance learning with face to face delivery, allowing the students to study at any location that they can. Degrees can be completed in 2 and a half years or they may be completed in up to 7 years, depending on what a lifestyle allows with whatever current professional responsibilities must come first. The courses are delivered online, and end with a face to face intensive meeting for their conclusion. Graduates will be able to work in a wide array of positions, including those that are or related to management, integrated information systems, senior system integrator, and Privy Council office. Students will learn how to comply with government and industry regulations, ensure that resources are technologically compliant for the long term, and ensure accuracy, security, and accessibility.
